Who hasn’t heard of Las Vegas, where the entertainment never stops, gambling, concerts, the big draw card boxing fights are held. Its popularity enhanced in so many Hollywood movies like Oceans Eleven and The Hangover. This is the number one gambling attraction in the US, bringing in locals and tourists from all around the world. The glamour, the bling bling, fame and fortune has no bounds.

Quite clearly, Nevada gaming laws allows many types of gambling. Both online and at bricks and mortar, and both casino and sports book. There is one exception however and that is a state wide lottery. With a fear from gambling operators of losing market share to a state lottery, legalizing a lottery never came into force.

Online casinos however are offered by offshore operators. There is a long history of online casinos offshore, and the big brand names have created a great diverse offering of quality games, excellent and competitive bonuses and a real dedication to customer service.

Overview of Nevada Casinos
Las Vegas Casinos
It is mind boggling as to how many casino venues there are in Vegas, let alone on the Las Vegas Boulevard a.k.a. the Vegas Strip. The Strip is not just about the casinos though, it has fine dining, retail shopping, live concerts, live performances, tourist attractions and lots lots more. To choose a casino or several casinos to visit will depend on what you are looking for in terms of entertainment, affordability, family and friends. As you can tell, the serious gamblers do not venture much to the Strip, as it is much more catered to tourists who are willing to spend money and have fun, rather than searching for the best payouts.
Without going into all the casinos, we list out the casinos which have attributes that make them special and or famous.

Oceans Eleven was centered around the Bellagio, and fittingly so, since the Bellagio is smack bang in the middle of the Strip where all the action is. The “Fountains at Bellagio” is something to behold with the Bellagio Conservatory and Botanical Gardens uniquely found in the casino resort. The shows are top class with plenty of restaurants to choose from.
The Bellagio is therefore more than just the gaming although the decadent floor holding over 2300 slot machines in itself is a sight to behold. Also check out the poker rooms, a must for one of the stop of the World Poker Tour.
In my opinion this is a must to visit, and definitely belongs in the top 10 casinos.
3570 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
The Hangover was filmed at this casino. Fabulous retail outlets and food court available. So much history contained in this venue hosting the greatest boxing fights ever. The casino is massive, luxurious, extravagant. Words cannot describe how great this venue is. The gaming floor has the most million dollar slots than any other casino in the world.
If you are a big fan of sports history, big time entertainment, then this casino is a must.
3355 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
One of the most highly rated casino resorts in Las Vegas. Another one the belongs in the top ten of casino resorts to visit. Opulent and decadent, the two words which really sums up this casino.
Spanning over 120,000 sq ft, containing more than 120 tables, laid with marble floors and covered with hand painted ceilings, this is the largest gaming floor in Las Vegas. The retail shops are authentic and possibly cannot be found anywhere else in the world to buy. The attention to detail and workmanship in building this mega gambling den is extraordinary. There are street performers, gondoliers and St Mark’s Square to mention a few of the attractions in this venue. They bring Venice to Las Vegas.
Wynn Casino and Resort
3131 S Las Vegas Blvd, Las Vegas, NV 89109
Not positioned as outwardly and open as the other mega casinos (and I mean this in relative terms), slightly more distanced away from the busiest areas of the Strip, but don’t take this to mean it ain’t great. Far from it, this is decadence to the max with a more contemporary design than most other casinos on the strip.
The Wynn casino is designed with two magnificent copper towers. Each tower houses it’s own unique hotel, however the underlying casino gaming floors meld into one, forming the second largest in Las Vegas. You will get lost in the maze of slot machines!
