Here is a list of casinos in Washington that allow 18+ to gamble. You will notice that some still have a restriction of 21+; This is due to the casino adhering to liquor licensing authorities since alcohol is served on the premises.
Best Washington 18+ Casino
Without doubt my favorite Washington casino that allows for 18+ players is the Suquamish Clearwater Casino Resort. It does not have the modern Vegas like feel, but that is what makes this casino so charming.
Clearwater has a rustic ambience that makes a trip to the casino much more than playing slots or hitting the tables.
Located at only a 30 minute drive from Seattle, this casino is situated at the Kitsap Peninsula. Alternatively, you can catch a relaxing ferry ride and let someone else worry about the “driving”. Being perfectly placed on the peninsula, the Clearwater is the only casino resort that offers stunning waterfront views near Seattle. There is no other casino like it in the vicinity.
The casino area is nicely maintained and cleaned. Hosting 1,200 slot machines, various table games, keno and regular promotions and prizes, the casino is just right. Again, it’s not mega Vegas like but it’s not too small.
Since Covid-19 restrictions have been in place, the casino floor is 100% pure no smoking. Hand sanitizer stations have been installed, and temperature checks are mandatory upon entry. Mask wearing is also mandatory for all players and staff, with removal permitted for when eating or drinking. Perspex glass is used at the cashier and counters, and social distancing rules have reduced capacity of the casino.
Unfortunately, with Covid-19 restrictions in place, the hours of gaming varies on the type of game.
Slots machines are available at all times to players. When finished playing, you are required to remove the “Machine is Clean” sign, so that the staff can be informed of a machine to be cleaned.
Table games have restricted available hours, and some tables have reduced capacity.
- Mon-Wed 2pm-12am
- Thu & Fri 2pm-2am
- Sat 12pm-2am
- Sun 12pm-12am
Keno is available daily from 12pm -8pm.
The Covid-19 health and safety policies are inconvenient, but you will find that all casinos in Washington (let alone around the US), have similar policies.
Hotel and View
But you know what, there is more to hitting the tables and slots at Clearwater. Their Hotel is a pure class. Now don’t get me wrong, this is not the corporate, buzzing light class, but the chill out, relaxing in nature class. And I firmly believe, in today’s world, we all need a bit of chill out time rather than being on a buzz all the time.
The rooms are large, spacious and comfortable. They will not blow your mind away with contemporary gadgets or with the Internet of Things, but they will take your breath away with the views and scenery.
Take a swim in the indoor pool – nicely designed, with surrounding glass, and little waterfall, or hang out at the outdoor hot tub. From the pool and tub viewpoint, your overlook the water as well.
During the day, why not also venture out to the “Clearwater” and hike with nature. You might be surprised how the simpler things in life have been long forgotten.
Casino Hours: Daily 10am -4am
Dining: Open hours reduced for Agate Pass Deli, The Clearwater, Beach Glass Cafe, & Beach Bru Coffee.
